Tavira Bakehouse is a brand new Patisserie / bakery situated inside the New fish market building! We are seeking an experienced Bread Baker to join our quality-focused team. We are a quality-driven bakery patisserie focused primarily on naturally leavened breads, supported by a refined viennoiserie and pastry offering.

Full-time position $70-75k based on experience

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Mix, ferment, divide, shape, and bake a range of artisan breads
n
Manage sourdough starters and fermentation schedules
n
Produce small quantities of viennoiserie and laminated products as required
n
Maintain strict quality and consistency standards
n
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
n
Uphold food safety and cleanliness standards at all times
n
Support the viennoiserie section .
n

Requirements
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional bakery
n
Solid understanding of bread production and fermentation
n
Confident with sourdough and long fermentation processes (preferred)
n
Ability to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
n
Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
n
Solid teamwork and communication skills
n
