About the Position:

Dental O So Gentle Beldon is looking for a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our busy, patient-focused practice on a part time basis, working alternate Wednesdays and every Saturday.

You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team in our contemporary, cosy practice, where teamwork, collaboration and patient care are at the heart of what we do. Our dentists and team are committed to providing high-quality care while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, supported and well looked after.

We offer a broad range of dental services, from general check-ups and preventative care through to cosmetic treatments, giving you the opportunity to build on your skills and gain experience across a variety of procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.
Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels,



ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed:
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
Attention to detail
