Training and Onboarding Manager – Building Management

Brisbane & Gold Coast | Regular travel across both regions

Meriton is seeking a Training and Onboarding Manager to support our Building Managers and help maintain consistent standards across our growing Queensland property portfolio.

This is a hands-on role combining staff training, new-site onboarding and operational support. You’ll spend time on site helping recent Building Managers settle into their roles, making sure they understand our systems, procedures and service expectations. You’ll also work closely with Operations Managers to identify training needs and support existing teams.

In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver inductions, practical training and ongoing coaching for Building Managers.
Lead the operational onboarding of new buildings, including property assessments, asset registers, maintenance schedules and contractor inductions.
Develop explicit training guides, checklists and resources for staff.
Review existing sites, identify gaps and help teams apply Meriton’s procedures consistently.




Coordinate relief coverage and provide hands-on Building Manager support when required.

About you

You have experience in building, facilities or property management and understand the practical demands of running a residential building. You’re an approachable trainer who can turn operational issues into helpful coaching, stay organised across multiple sites and work confidently with staff, contractors and managers.

Experience with Mybos or a similar property or facilities management system would be an advantage. Regular travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast is required, along with flexibility to attend site activities outside standard business hours when needed.
