Company Description ProAACtive Speech Pathology supports children and adults with complex communication needs and provides mentoring and clinical support to Speech Pathologists across Australia in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Services are delivered in homes, schools, workplaces, community settings, at the Stirling clinic, and via telehealth.

We offer speech pathology assessment, treatment and training, assistive technology assessment and prescription, mentoring and supervision, school consultation and training, workshops, and communication device hire.

Role Description This in office Speech Pathologist role is based in the Greater Perth Area. The Speech Pathologist will conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy for individuals with complex communication needs across home, school, clinic, and community settings.

Daily tasks include developing and implementing individualized intervention plans, collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals,



and supporting the prescription and use of AAC and other communication technologies. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, contributing to workshops and training sessions, and participating in mentoring or supervision activities as appropriate.

Qualifications
Recognized qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership/registration with relevant qualified bodies.
Experience or interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and assistive communication technology.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and to engage effectively with families, carers, and community stakeholders.
Robust organizational, documentation, and time-management skills, with a commitment to ethical and culturally responsive practice.
Current driver’s license and ability to travel within the Greater Perth Area, and relevant clearances to work with children and vulnerable people.
