Fleet Controller – Container Transport | Welshpool Permanent position | Welshpool, WA
MPC Solutions is recruiting a Fleet Controller for a well-established transport business in Welshpool. This hands-on role will suit someone who enjoys keeping trucks, drivers and jobs moving while working closely with the operations team.
You’ll coordinate container transport work, particularly movements to and from the wharf, and help maintain reliable service for customers.
What you’ll be doing
Mobilising trucks and drivers for container and wharf work.
Scheduling jobs, allocating staff and adjusting plans when priorities change.
Keeping drivers, customers and the operations team informed throughout the day.
Monitoring progress and taking practical steps to resolve delays.
Leading by example and enforcing company procedures and standards.
What you’ll bring
Up to three years’ experience in fleet control, transport scheduling or a similar role,
ideally involving container and wharf operations.
A sound understanding of truck and driver allocation in a busy transport setting.
Strong communication skills and a skilled, presentable manner.
Reliability: you are contactable, follow through and keep people updated.
A team-focused approach, with the flexibility to give and take when plans change.
The confidence to make decisions and uphold company standards.
Australian residency and full working rights.
