All Coast Hire is seeking an experienced and motivated EWP Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and repair of a range of Elevating Work Platforms (EWPs) and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance of EWPs, Fork Lifts and Telehandlers
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical faults.
Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is safe and operational.
Complete breakdown repairs and respond to service requirements.
Complete service reports, inspection records and maintenance documentation.
Identify potential safety issues and recommend corrective action.
Maintain a clean, protected and organised workshop and work setting.
Work in accordance with company safety procedures and relevant Australian Standards.
Communicate effectively with customers and management.
Assist with deliveries and collections when required
An HR licence is advantageous but not essential
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Fitter/Mechanic or similar.
Previous experience working on EWPs, mobile plant, forklifts or similar equipment.
Robust mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Positive communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current driver's licence.
EWP or relevant access equipment experience is highly desirable.
