Job Description n

River House 4215 is a waterfront dining venue located on the Nerang River in Southport. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will oversee the restaurant's daily operations, lead our service team and help ensure an outstanding experience for every guest. Key responsibilities

Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and service.
n
Manage the restaurant's profitable, effective and safe operation.
n
Work with kitchen staff to develop and implement suitable menus.
n
Manage operational budgets and performance targets.
n
Ensure food, beverage and operational supplies are ordered efficiently.
n
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate stock-movement records.
n
Account for financial transactions and reconcile daily figures.
n
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and food-safety requirements.
n
Oversee the restaurant's presentation, functionality and reservation systems.
n
Build rapport with customers and consistently exceed their expectations.
n




Recruit, select, train and develop restaurant staff.
n
Manage and supervise front-of-house and kitchen employees to maintain the required service standards.
n
Assist with staff rostering, performance management and daily operational planning.
n

Skills and experience nn
A Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification is preferred.
n
At least one year of relevant experience in a Restaurant Manager or comparable hospitality-management role.
n
Solid leadership, communication and people-management skills.
n
Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a busy restaurant environment.
n
Sound understanding of stock control, budgeting and financial reconciliation.
n
Knowledge of applicable food-safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
A robust commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
n
Availability to work the restaurant's required roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
n

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
