Role Description The Structural Drafter will produce detailed structural shop drawings and documentation to support the delivery of building projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, coordinating architectural and structural documentation, and updating plans in line with design changes and engineering markups. The role involves working closely with structural engineers and other project stakeholders to ensure drawings are accurate, buildable,



and compliant with relevant standards.

The Structural

Drafter will also contribute to BIM model development, assist with drawing quality control, and maintain organized drawing records. This is a full-time, in office role based in Neutral Bay, NSW.

Qualifications
Ability to prepare and manage shop drawings and detailed structural documentation.
Strong technical drawing skills, including proficiency in structural and architectural drafting.
Foundational understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms and related workflows.
Proficiency with CAD and/or BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools).
Relevant qualification in drafting, engineering, or a related discipline.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, builders, and other team members.
Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards is advantageous.
