Dicky Beach Surf Club is an award winning club -seeking to hire a motivatedqualified chef. This unique prospect will provide the right applicant anopportunity to work in one of the Sunshine coasts most picturesque locations.

We offer above award rates and a flexible roster. Shifts normally work from 11am - 8.30pm with an hour (or more) break Monday to Sunday.

n

We are looking for someone with a passion for creating quality food to join our amazing team. The position is a full time salaried role forthe right candidate.

The successful applicant will:

Be Trade Qualified

n

Minimum Qualifications Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

n

Be motivated andwilling to work in a team environment

n

Be driven by quality and customer satisfaction

n

Flexible working conditions for the right candidate

n

Have ability to work in a quick paced environment

n

Minimum 2 years industry experience

n

Duties Include:

n

n




Plan menus and food preparation issues with managers or head chef;
n
Order food, kitchen supplies and equipment;
n
Prepare and store food stuffs, ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained;
n
Preparation of meals, ensuring presentation, portion control and quality is of the highest standard;
n
Liaise with Head Chef or Managers on Functions or Special requirements;
n
Maintain kitchen equipment and individual tools of the trade;
n
Constantly update knowledge and skills to keep abreast of industry trends;
n
Train and supervisor apprentices, trainees and other kitchen staff;
n
Assist or compile kitchen rosters and staffing reviews;
n
Relieving and performing other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management.
