About the role

We're looking for an experienced Serviceperson to join the Operations team at our Vulcan open cut and highwall mining operation near Moranbah. You'll keep the mobile plant fleet serviced and ready to go every shift, so production crews can start on time with reliable equipment.
7 on 7 off Roster
Camp accommodation and meals provided

Reporting to the operations supervisor

Key responsibilities
Provide essential servicing and maintenance support across the site’s heavy mobile equipment fleet.
Fuel, lubricate and grease the mobile plant fleet so it is ready for the next shift
Carry out scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, weekly equipment checks and basic mechanical work, both in the field and in the workshop
Inspect plant condition and keep accurate service records to support the Maintenance Planner
Manage servicing consumables and parts stock levels
Operate mobile equipment for maintenance and inspection,



and in other site work areas where trained and authorised
Take part in the site Emergency Response Team where trained and competent

About you
Previous experience as a serviceperson or field service technician on heavy mobile plant, ideally in open cut coal
Current Standard 11 (Generic Coal Surface Induction) or willingness to obtain
Current Coal Board Medical, or ability to complete one
Current driver's licence (C class / HR preferred)
RII Service Mine Plant & Equipment or equivalent qualification
A robust safety mindset and a commitment to working to procedures
Well-organised, accurate recordkeeping habits
Experience with highwall mining, load and haul operations, or drill and blast equipment
Forklift licence, working at heights, and confined space tickets highly regarded
Emergency response or first aid experience highly regarded
