Position Overview
This is a permanent prospect with a well-established engineering team delivering major mining and mineral processing projects, covering both Brownfields and Greenfields work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead 3D modelling and layout design for mining, port, and mineral processing projects.
Drive Brownfields optimisation, constructability, and safety improvements.
Deliver Greenfields plant layouts from concept through to construction.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance.
Take ownership of design packages and deliver them with a high level of autonomy.
Requirements:
5–10 years of experience as a Mechanical / SMP 3D Modeller within mining and mineral processing.
Robust expertise in materials handling systems and process plant layouts.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Navisworks, Inventor, Tekla, and MicroStation.
Proven experience delivering both Brownfields and Greenfields projects.
Robust communication, coordination, and mentoring skills.
