Senior Service Engineer for a leading specialist supplier in the Diagnostic Imaging sector with a nationwide presence. The role offers flexibility to work remotely as part of the position, based in the Melbourne team.
Key responsibilities
Liaise with customers on a time critical basis
Maintain detailed service records (written and electronic)
Provide timely advice and consultation for equipment repairs (in office and via phone)
Manage Spare Parts Inventory
Diagnose and repair equipment
Occasional travel across Australia and New Zealand for customer support
Install and commission equipment at customer sites
Follow up and maintain an active service database
About you
Tertiary or equivalent degree in electronics or substantial electronics experience
Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams
Experience servicing diagnostic X-Ray equipment including relevant state licenses
Robust troubleshooting skills, with the ability to explain solutions to customers and other engineers
Strong work ethic and loyalty
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Flexibility with travel and working hours
Proficient in IT (Windows, Word, Excel)
Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain one)
