Role Description As a Restoration Technician at Total Disaster Recovery, you will perform on-site restoration and remediation tasks for residential and commercial properties in Brisbane, QLD. This full time role involves assessing damage, setting up and monitoring drying equipment, cleaning and restoring affected structures and contents, and assisting with the removal of water, mould, odours, and other contaminants. You will follow safety protocols, document work performed, and support senior technicians in implementing mitigation plans.

The role requires regular interaction with clients,



insurance representatives, and teammates to ensure clear communication and timely completion of restoration projects. You may work in diverse conditions and respond to urgent or after-hours jobs as needed.

Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Water Damage and Water Damage Restoration for residential and commercial sites.
Ability to support Mitigation activities, including damage assessment and implementation of remediation procedures.
Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Awareness of Invasive Species and related environmental considerations in restoration work.
Experience in fire, mould, and biohazard remediation is beneficial.
Knowledge of secure work practices, including use of PPE and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, moving equipment, and working in confined or challenging spaces.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport to attend in office jobs in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Prior experience in restoration, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related trade is an advantage.
