The Firm A well respected boutique law firm in the Burwood (inner West Sydney) seeks a professional candidate to work with a great group of like minded people. This boutique firm has a close-knit, collegiate setting and is located in a beautiful and convenient location.
Your task involves debt recovery and civil litigation. You will need to issue let Thera of demand, commence court proceedings and prepare evidence for court. You will also be required to attend to court matters through the online court portal.
You'll manage client files, regular meetings, and assisting solicitors with general matters.
You would need to be a motivated team player with exceptional customer service skills and a thorough understanding of collections processes.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
What’s the role?
Experience is preferred, but not essential.
Attention to detail and motivated to succeed
Willing to learn and hit the ground running
You will be required to make phone calls and send emails to insurance companies asking them to pay invoices for our clients.
Manage ledgers of customer accounts to ensure that any outstanding debt is collected and correctly reconciled
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve customer disputes and ensure correct invoicing
Provide exceptional customer service with solid negotiation skills for payment arrangement
Minimise bad debt for the business
Who are you?
You study law or at least have a strong interest in law
Worked in a law firm in a similar role
Attention to detail
Excellent listener and willing to excel
Job Type: Full time Pay: $56,574.40 – $94,534.34 per year
