AM PM Brunswick is a local café and bar on Sydney Road, Brunswick, looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchenhand / Cook to join our kitchen team.
We’re a busy, independent venue serving modern brunch and lunch during the day, followed by a relaxed bar and casual food service in the afternoon and evening.
The role
We’re looking for someone who can help with both kitchenhand duties and basic cooking, depending on the shift.
Your responsibilities will include
Food preparation and basic cooking
Assisting the chef/cook during service
Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
Basic prep, plating and kitchen duties
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Helping with stock organisation and kitchen cleaning
Maintaining a clean, efficient and positive kitchen environment
About you We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Hardworking and able to work efficiently during busy periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Clean, organised and takes pride in their work
Available for some weekends
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but we’re happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to cook independently and handle basic sections of the kitchen is a big plus.
