We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our cleaning supplies business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customers, and promoting a range of commercial cleaning chemicals, consumables, equipment and janitorial products to business customers. This is a B2B sales role, primarily dealing with commercial cleaning companies, facilities management companies, offices, schools, aged-care facilities, hotels, restaurants, warehouses and other organisations requiring cleaning supplies.
Key responsibilities n

Identify and develop recent B2B sales opportunities.
n
Make regular sales calls and visits to existing and prospective customers.
n
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
n
Promote and sell commercial cleaning products and supplies.
n
Understand customers' cleaning requirements and recommend suitable products.
n
Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and convert opportunities into sales.
n
Meet agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
n
Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
n
Follow up with customers regarding orders,
deliveries and product requirements.
n
Introduce new products and identify opportunities to increase customer spend.

Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the cleaning supplies, janitorial or commercial cleaning industry.
n
Good knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, consumables and equipment.
n
Existing experience dealing with commercial customers.
n
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and maintain existing accounts.
n
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
n
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
n
Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
