The Optical Worker – Store person will accurately & efficiently assemble and dispatch all order types, receive and put away inbound stock and any other warehouse duties that are required.
Order assembly using Voice Pick or a handheld RF device.
Packing and Scanning orders for dispatch using JDA Pack Stations or Multi Scanner Stations.
Unpack, sort, and put away incoming goods using handheld RF devices and ensure the task is completed accurately and efficiently.
Replenish warehouse locations accurately and efficiently using handheld RF devices.
Accurately cycle count of stock using a handheld RF device.
Operation of materials handling equipment.
Training of recent or casual staff in the order assembly process, scanning and RF handheld use.




Work as a team member helping to contribute to the department’s achievement of the KPIs.
Follow work instructions and procedures.
Work safely and adhere to company safety procedures.

Experience in a similar warehousing role
The ability to work unsupervised and highly motivated with a can-do attitude
Available to work overtime when necessary
Attention to detail and accuracy
Positive literacy and numeracy skills
Positive understanding of WHS requirements
