About the role
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic 2IC Accountant to support our busy Finance department. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Weekly payroll process as well as onboarding current employees.
Completing general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
Preparing budgets and forecasts and providing insightful monthly performance analysis.
Maintaining the fixed asset register and strengthening financial controls.
Identifying and implementing improvements to finance systems, reporting tools and processes.
Supporting and overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable and Warranty Department.
Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple business units.
Qualifications and Experience
CPA or CA qualification.
A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
Pronto experience is desirable.
Full Australian working rights.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
A sound understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
