Role Description This is a full-time, on-site NDT Technician role based in Brisbane, QLD. The NDT Technician will perform non-destructive tests on materials, components, and structures using methods such as eddy current, ultrasonic testing, and corrosion inspection techniques. Day-to-day tasks include preparing work areas and equipment, conducting inspections according to procedures and standards, interpreting and documenting results, and reporting findings to supervisors and clients.

The role involves collaborating with quality control personnel, following safety and regulatory requirements, and maintaining testing tools and records.



The technician will also support continuous improvement of inspection processes and may travel to client sites within the region as required.

Qualifications
Ability to perform and interpret Eddy Current testing, including setup, calibration, and data evaluation.
Proficiency in Ultrasonics (UT) for flaw detection, thickness measurement, and structural integrity assessment.
Experience with Corrosion assessment and Inspection of industrial assets, piping, and structures.
Understanding of Quality Control principles, standards, and documentation related to NDT activities.
Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., Level 2 in one or more methods) or progress toward certification is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., AS/NZS, ISO, API) beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to produce clear, accurate reports.
Physical ability to work on-site in industrial environments, including at heights or confined spaces, following safety protocols.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and clients.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in office in Brisbane, QLD and surrounding areas.
