We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our team.
With a workforce of around 100 people and continuing to grow, this is a diverse, hands-on role combining payroll and accounts responsibilities in a busy operational setting. You’ll work closely with our projects and administration teams, as well as supporting our field-based workforce.

This role would suit someone who is experienced, organised, and confident managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Duties will include, but not be limited to
Processing payroll in Xero, including payroll tax and Workcover administration
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Completing end-of-month and end-of-quarter reconciliations
Preparing BAS information and fuel tax credit calculations
Responding to payroll and accounts queries from across the business
Skills & Experience
5 years minimum experience in payroll and accounts work
Experience with Xero payroll
Willingness to learn current software
High attention to detail
Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
Exposure to the construction industry an advantage
The Role
This is a full-time, in office position, working 38 hours per week. The proposed hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility available.
Salary will be based on experience.
