We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to support product manufacturing and assembly at our R&D; facility in Clayton, Victoria. This is a full-time, in office role reporting to Jia Wei Ng.
You will help deliver consistent workmanship, reliable production records and well-maintained equipment while working closely with colleagues to improve manufacturing efficiency.
What you will do
Carry out manufacturing and assembly activities in accordance with work instructions.
Check the functionality of parts and components, record results and raise defects or unexpected findings.
Help optimise production efficiency through machinery adjustments and settings within assigned procedures and training.
Maintain equipment and maintenance logs, and keep the work area secure and tidy.
Maintain productivity records and incident reports in accordance with internal policies and applicable requirements.
Work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to understand critical product features and design requirements.
What you will bring
Relevant practical experience appropriate to a technician role. We welcome a range of related experience, including from recent graduates.
Careful workmanship, explicit communication and the ability to follow work instructions.
A cooperative approach to working with colleagues.
Experience with injection moulding, FDM or SLA 3D printing, or general workshop tools is preferred.
Development in the role You will build proficiency in assembly, quality checks and equipment upkeep. Your responsibilities can expand as you complete training and demonstrate capability.
