Carnac is a respected engineering consultancy recognised for expertise in the minerals processing industry. We're looking for a chemical or process engineering graduate who enjoys problem solving and is eager to learn.
Undergraduates in their final year are also encouraged to apply for this role.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at our head office, 20 minutes from the Perth CBD. Free parking, close to public transport and end-of-trip facilities.
You'll develop your process engineering and project management skills working alongside senior engineers. Under their supervision you'll gain hands-on experience across a range of activities:
Manage small projects from start to finish or contribute to large projects as part of a team as well as define, track and report on time, cost and quality.
Assist in the design and optimisation of industrial, water, energy and resource-related processes.
Develop solid, cooperative and productive relationships with the multidisciplinary teams, clients and suppliers and throughout industry.
Contribute to process design activities, including mass and energy balances, process flow diagrams, engineering calculations and equipment sizing.

It is essential that applicants are in their final year or have been awarded a bachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering recognised by the Institute of Engineers (Australia).
Experience in SysCAD or equivalent process modelling software is highly regarded.
