About the role The Haven, Nepean Women's Shelter is seeking a Child & Youth Worker to deliver client centred, trauma informed support, secure housing pathways, and to empower women and children to rebuild their futures. This is a full-time permanent position working 32 to 38 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
Deliver client centred, trauma informed support to women and children
Support secure housing pathways
Provide case management and client support
Work both independently and in a team
Support women and children from diverse backgrounds
About you
Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or related field
Experience in family and domestic violence or child/youth work
Strong case management and client support skills
A commitment to trauma informed, client centred practice
Ability to work both independently and in a team with a solid commitment to a positive workplace culture
Current first aid certificate or capacity to acquire one before commencement
Current NSW driver's License
The right to live and work in Australia with ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
