Supporting a North NSW-based team, you will play a critical role in maintaining technical excellence, managing workflow and ensuring continuity across a busy and successful workers compensation practice. You do not need to be based in North NSW.

This position will suit a senior practitioner who enjoys leading others while remaining actively involved in complex workers compensation matters.

The Role You will provide technical leadership and day-to-day support to a team of lawyers while maintaining your own practice across NSW workers compensation matters.
Key responsibilities n
n
Managing a portfolio of workers compensation matters across the IRO and WID jurisdiction
n
Providing technical guidance, mentoring and support to junior lawyers
n
Leading and developing a team of three to four legal professionals
n
Overseeing workflow, quality assurance and practice performance
n
Managing complex and escalated mattersSupporting capability development across the broader workers compensation team
n
Working closely with leadership to ensure client service and operational objectives are achieved
n
About You nn
Accreditation as a Specialist in Personal Injury Law
n
An unrestricted practising certificate
n
A minimum of 10 years' relevant legal experience
n
Current and substantial experience in NSW workers compensation law
n
Solid technical expertise within the IRO and WID environment
n
Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising and developing lawyers
n
