An exciting chance is available for an experienced Valuations & Acquisitions Advisor to join a major NSW Government organisation, supporting property acquisition activities across significant infrastructure and transport programs.
n
As the Valuations & Acquisitions Advisor, you will manage property valuations, negotiations and acquisition activities to support the timely delivery of major projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Conduct and manage property valuations and negotiations, including complex matters.
n
Manage property acquisition activities in accordance with relevant policies, guidelines and legislative requirements.
n
Prepare submissions and documentation for approval while maintaining appropriate governance and probity.
n
Liaise with surveyors, property professionals and internal stakeholders regarding acquisition plans and agreements.
n
Ensure agreements accurately reflect conditions of purchase and associated property works or adjustments.
n
Provide accurate and practical advice relating to property valuations and acquisitions.
n
Support the timely acquisition and access to properties required for major projects.
n
About You nn
Demonstrated experience in property valuation and/or property acquisition.
n
Solid experience negotiating property-related matters with landowners and stakeholders.
n
Sound knowledge of property acquisition processes, governance and relevant legislation.
n
Experience managing complex property or valuation matters.
n
Solid written communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Experience within government, infrastructure, transport or major projects will be highly regarded.
