About the Role
As a Catering Attendant, you will assist with food preparation, meal service and dining room operations while supporting residents to enjoy a positive and engaging mealtime experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with food preparation and meal service
Taking resident meal orders and supporting meal choice
Delivering exceptional dining and hospitality service
Monitoring resident meal intake and reporting concerns
Maintaining food safety,
infection control and hygiene standards
Supporting special events, celebrations and catering functions
Using catering software and documentation systems
Maintaining kitchen and dining areas to a high standard
About You
You are someone who:
Enjoys working with older people
Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
Has experience in hospitality, catering, food service or aged care
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Understands food safety and infection control principles
Is reliable, professional and passionate about quality service
Highly Desirable
Experience in aged care, healthcare or hospitality
Food Safety or Food Handler Certificate
Certificate II in Hospitality or Health Services
