Experience Grill Chef
n Burkeson Pty Ltd T/A Hibernian Hotel is looking for a qualified Chef to join the team at our hotel
n bistro located in Goulburn. We are a busy hotel and function venue serving high volume of up-to-date
n Australian menu. This is a busy position and will require applicant who has previous experience in a
n similar role and cuisine. We value teamwork and are looking for a qualified and experienced Chef to
n join our team.
n
Your duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
n
n
Create and prepare high-quality dishes with a focus on innovation and taste to provide unforgettable experience to customers.
n
Oversee kitchen operations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
n
Develop new menu recipes and upgrading existing menu to suite various function and dietary requirements.
n
Oversee kitchen operations and ensure compliance with OH&S; standards
n
Maintain proper and standards of storage of various food items
n
Manage inventory, check stock level and order supplies
n
Check delivery and minimise wastage as well as control food costs.
n
Lead and inspire a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
n
Train new staffs as required and rostering of the kitchen team
n
Maintain a clean, hygienic and organized kitchen environment
n
About you n
The successful candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
n
n
Minimum 2 years experience as a chef in a busy restaurant.
n
Be passionate about the role to provide excellent customer service
n
Solid knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
n
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
n
Ability to work with team and under pressure during busy hours
n
Culinary degree Certificate IV level or equivalent certification preferred.
