HPC Production Engineer – Sydney
n Join a global leader in technology-driven research as an HPC Production Engineer supporting large-scale high-performance computing settings. In this hands-on role, you’ll design, maintain, and optimize compute, storage, and network systems that power cutting-edge research and data pipelines.

You’ll work closely with researchers and cross-functional teams to build automation tools, monitor system performance,



and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. This is an excellent chance for someone with solid Linux skills, HPC experience, and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.

Key skills & experience:

n

n
5+ years in HPC environments, including parallel filesystems (Lustre, GPFS) and batch schedulers (Slurm, Grid Engine)
n
Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Go, C, or similar)
n
Experience with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, etc.)
n
Strong debugging, profiling, and root cause analysis skills
n
Ability to work independently, reliably supporting production systems
