The Network are seeking an experienced Dev SecOps Engineer to join a major Federal Government program in Canberra. This is a hands‑on role focused on building, automating and securing Microsoft Azure infrastructure within a complex enterprise workplace.

Contract: 12 months x2 12 month extensions

The role suits an engineer with solid Azure Dev Ops, Terraform/IaC, Linux and cloud security experience who can work across infrastructure, application and security teams.
The Role /n
/n
Design, build and maintain secure Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
/n
Develop automated infrastructure and application deployments using Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, Bicep and/or ARM.
/n
Implement and improve Azure security controls across RBAC, Azure Policy,
Defender for Cloud and vulnerability management.
/n
Develop reusable automation, cloud foundations and self‑service capabilities while contributing to technical leadership and knowledge transfer.

Key Skills /n
/n
Strong hands‑on Microsoft Azure and Azure Dev Ops experience within complex enterprise environments.
/n
Solid Terraform / Infrastructure as Code capability, ideally including Bicep and/or ARM templates.
/n
Experience across Dev SecOps, CI/CD, cloud security, vulnerability management, Azure RBAC, Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud.
/n
Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring and experience working with architects, developers, infrastructure and security teams.
