Senior Technical Field Engineer (Hardware) /n

Experience in computer hardware repair, field services, desktop support, or technical support environments.

/n

Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across laptop, desktop, and enterprise hardware platforms.

/n

Experience performing break/fix maintenance on enterprise-class hardware, including servers, storage devices, desktop PCs, notebooks, and peripheral equipment.

/n

Experience replacing and upgrading hardware components such as motherboards, power supplies, memory, storage devices, processors, screens, batteries, keyboards, SSDs, and other field-replaceable units.

/n

Basic knowledge of server hardware diagnostics, RAID configurations, firmware updates, and component replacement procedures.

/n

Practical experience with the installation, basic configuration, and cabling of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and associated connectivity equipment.

/n

Experience with equipment installation, rack mounting, patching,



cable management, and basic site setup activities within enterprise customer environments.

/n

Valuable understanding of Windows operating systems and desktop computing settings.

/n

Experience working with Dell, Lenovo, HPE, Cisco, or other enterprise OEM hardware platforms is highly desirable.

/n

Solid customer service, communication, and documentation skills.

/n

Ability to work independently and manage multiple onsite service requests.

/n

Experience in Apple Software.

/n

OEM or manufacturer certifications are advantageous.

Key Qualifications /n

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

/n
2 years of experience in computer hardware repair, field services, desktop support, or technical support environments.

/n

Current Australian Driver's License and willingness to travel throughout the Mackay region.
