Consultant Physician / Medical Specialist
Fitzroy North Medical

Description

We’re looking for a medical specialist to join our vibrant Fitzroy North team, stepping into a space shaped by genuine care and long-standing community connections.

Our very busy private practice in Melbourne's inner north has a solid referral network and serves a diverse patient population. We invite physicians and other medical specialists who want to start or grow their private consulting practice in a supportive and collaborative setting to get in touch.

Our clinic includes experienced general practitioners, nurses, and allied health specialists, including psychologists, our physiotherapist and podiatrist, a geriatrician, and a skin specialist. This team approach offers excellent prospects for internal referrals and multidisciplinary care.

All practitioners consulting from FNMC operate as independent contractors, allowing them the flexibility to determine their own consulting days, hours, and scope of practice, while benefiting from the clinic's established administrative support and referral networks.

Essential qualifications
Fellowship of the relevant Australasian specialist college (e.g. FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification)
Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
