The Orthopedic Physical Therapist role is conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fairview, New Jersey. Here, therapists collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and support staff. The setting is equipped with the latest therapy equipment and resources to ensure efficient care delivery and enhanced patient outcomes. Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or degenerative diseases with tailored rehabilitation programs. Establish comprehensive treatment plans that integrate advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as necessary. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, modifying treatment plans in response to ongoing assessments. Educate patients and their families about exercises and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
Recommend the appropriate use of assistive devices for mobility and self-care when indicated. Conduct regular reassessments and adjust therapeutic goals and strategies in conjunction with patient feedback. Engage in continuous learning by participating in workshops, reviewing literature, and networking within professional communities to stay abreast of industry advancements. Patient Population / Client Focus
As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, sports injuries, and age-related conditions. Your expertise will aid patients of all ages in regaining their strength and functionality, allowing them to return to their daily activities and enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications
A current Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members. Proficiency in data entry and electronic health record documentation. Ability to be adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of patients. Preferred Experience
Prior experience in orthopedic settings is preferred but not required—new graduates are encouraged to apply. Hands-on experience with physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques will be beneficial. Familiarity with working in multi-disciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery. Compensation and Perks
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 per year,
