Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel - Fund Manager

JS Careers are pleased to be exclusively assisting a leadingfund manager firm seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/ Senior Legal Counsel to join its high performing in-house legal function.

Working closely with the General Counsel and wider legal team, this role offers broad exposure acrossfund formation, regulatory advice and day-to-day commercial workin a fast-paced investment environment.

The role will involve:

- Advising on a wide range ofcorporate and commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Supporting fund formation, structuring and ongoing operations.
- Providing advice onfinancial services regulation and compliance
- Assisting withproduct and services documentation, governance and company secretarial matters




- Managing relationships withexternal legal advisers

About you:

- Australian qualified lawyer with6 - 15years’ experience (private practice and/or in-house)
- Background ininvestment funds
- Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills
- Confident working with senior stakeholders in a high-performance workplace
