The work

From everyday residential maintenance to larger renovations and light commercial projects, you’ll enjoy a mix of work that keeps your days interesting and puts your skills to good use.





Your role will include:

- Residential and light commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.

- Fault-finding and problem-solving to deliver protected, practical solutions.

- Working independently on jobs and alongside the team on larger projects.

- Listening to customers, understanding their needs and explaining solutions in plain language.

- Keeping customers informed about progress and any changes that affect their job.

- Delivering a neat, quality finish and leaving each work area tidy.

- Representing TopSpec professionally through your workmanship, presentation and interactions with customers.

You’ll have the trust to take ownership of your work and the support of an experienced team when you need it.

Technical skills are essential, and the experience you give our customers is just as important. You’ll often be the face of our business, so the way you communicate and conduct yourself matters on every visit.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Builds rapport naturally and makes customers feel comfortable asking questions.

- Treats every customer with patience and respect , whether it’s a small repair or a major renovation.

- Respects people’s property , taking care in their homes and businesses and cleaning up afterwards.

- Offers honest, helpful recommendations that suit the customer’s needs.





- Follows through on commitments and takes responsibility for resolving concerns.

- Leaves a positive impression that gives customers confidence to call us again and recommend us to others.

About you

You’re a capable electrician who takes pride in the details and brings a positive, practical attitude to the day. You’re professional, approachable and customer focused, and you understand that your actions reflect on the whole team.

We’re looking for someone with:

- A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence .

- At least three years’ experience in residential electrical work , with confidence in service, maintenance and fault-finding.

- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and relevant electrical safety requirements.

- A current driver’s licence, an automatic licence is welcome.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer focused approach.

- A reliable, organised approach and the ability to manage your work independently.

- A commitment to quality workmanship, without cutting corners.

- A team-focused attitude, you’re willing to lend a hand, share knowledge and support your colleagues.

- A willingness to listen, take feedback on board and keep learning.

- An interest in a long-term role , developing with the business and contributing to its future.

Air conditioning experience is highly regarded but isn’t essential.
