As a Support Worker, you will assist residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by providing person-centred care and support.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Supporting mobility and daily living activities
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Following individual care plans and organisational policies
- Working collaboratively as part of a caring and professional team
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting requirements

- Genuine empathy and a passion for supporting older people
- Willingness and ability to provide personal care
- A reliable, dedicated, and respectful work ethic
- Ability to follow care plans, policies, and procedures
- Commitment to learning and career development
- Bilingual (conversational fluency) highly regarded
Requirements
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Aged Care, currently studying, or willingness to undertake
