WorkPac are seeking experienced A Grade Electricians for FIFO shutdown and project opportunities across a range of mine sites throughout Western Australia. With ongoing work, a rolling schedule of shutdowns and project opportunities, this is an excellent opportunity for qualified Electricians seeking consistent site-based employment and long-term career progression.
About Our Client
Our client is an Australian-owned and operated electrical services provider established in 2007, specialising in electrical projects, shutdown maintenance and upgrades across mining operations throughout the Pilbara. With a strong focus on safety, reliability and operational excellence, they offer ongoing opportunities to work alongside skilled and experienced teams across leading mining sites in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out electrical maintenance and shutdown works across mining and resources operations
- Completing electrical installations, repairs, upgrades and project works
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults
- Performing inspections, testing and preventative maintenance
- Adhering to site safety procedures, company policies and industry standards
- Working collaboratively with maintenance and project teams to ensure protected and efficient operations
- Completing relevant safety documentation and reporting requirements
What You Will Need
- Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- Current C Class or HR Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid certification (within 3 years)
- Current CPR and LVR certification (within the last 12 months)
- High Risk Work Licence EWP over 11 metres
- Working at Heights certification (within 3 years)
- First Attack Firefighting certification (within 4 years)
- Experience working as an Electrician within the mining and resources sector, particularly shutdowns and projects
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Current RTIO inductions
Highly Desirable
- High Voltage Switching qualification
- Current BHP inductions
- Current FMG inductions
