Qualified applicants are invited to express their interest in short term temporary and relieving Guidance Officer opportunities across the Metropolitan South Region. This continuous talent pool is open to candidates who meet the mandatory requirements outlined in the attached role description. Vacancies may be filled for periods of up to six months. This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Your opportunity:

Continuous Applicant Pool - General Guidance and Wellbeing Guidance Officers:

Our region will actively review applications throughout 2026 as vacancies arise.
Positions may range in duration up to six months. Any extensions to an appointment will not exceed 12 months.
Locations include: Brisbane South, Redlands/Bayside Area, Ipswich, Rural Valley Area (parts of Lockyer Valley and Somerset Region).

- Applicants are encouraged to discuss their application with their current Line Manager to confirm support, and capacity to release.

- Attach written response (maximum 2 page) addressing Key Capabilities 1-4 as per Role Description 'How you will be assessed' section.

- Attach certified copies of your relevant qualifications and transcript/s - e.g., Masters in Guidance and Counselling, or equivalent.
