About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their Melbourne CBD team, working across some of the city's major commercial high-rise buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working on large central plant, complex HVAC systems and high-rise commercial buildings, rather than residential or small-scale service work.

The Role
Working predominantly across the Melbourne CBD, you will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of HVAC and mechanical services within large commercial buildings.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preventative and reactive maintenance of commercial HVAC systems
- Working on large central plant and mechanical services
- Servicing and fault-finding across high-rise commercial buildings
- Working on chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs and associated equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to HVAC systems
- Monitoring and maintaining plant room equipment
- Working with BMS systems and building controls
- Responding to breakdowns and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently
- Completing maintenance documentation and service reports
- Working closely with facility managers, clients and other trades
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For




We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician who has a strong background in large commercial buildings and central plant environments.

You will ideally have:

- Relevant HVAC & Refrigeration qualifications
- Current Victorian Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Previous experience working across high-rise commercial buildings
- Strong experience with central plant HVAC systems
- Experience with chillers, cooling towers, AHUs and associated equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with BMS/building management systems highly regarded
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a professional team
- Full Australian working rights
- Current driver's licence
