Our team provides Line 1 assurance across our Banking and Financial Services division, helping the business manage risk through robust controls and effective oversight. We are delivering a strategic program to introduce automated assurance controls testing, enabling continuous insight into the performance of critical controls.

This role is a 12 Month Max Term Contract to support parental leave.

What role will you play?

In this role you will help transform our assurance approach from point-in-time reviews to continuous automated monitoring of critical controls. You will design, build and maintain automated assurance tests, conduct risk and controls assurance reviews, and work closely with colleagues across technology, data and risk teams. You will also share data-driven insights with stakeholders and support actions that strengthen control effectiveness and risk management outcomes.

What you offer

- Experience in controls assurance, external audit, risk governance or operational risk management within financial services.




- Strong understanding of risk and controls assurance frameworks and the practical application of risk management principles in a complex banking and wealth management environment.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, influence stakeholders and support change across a large organisation.
- Experience working with automated control testing including the development and maintaince of continuous monitoring tests; exposure to AI-driven control testing is desirable.
