Who will you be working with?
You'll be joining an established and growing Home Claims team within a leading Australian insurer. The team is customer-focused, collaborative and technically driven, with a strong emphasis on getting the right outcomes for customers while maintaining quality and compliance. You'll work alongside experienced claims professionals, builders and repair networks, with exposure to a broad range of residential property claims. What will you be doing?
- Conduct on-site and virtual assessments of insured residential properties
- Assess property damage and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Prepare accurate scopes of works and provide technical recommendations
- Provide advice on repair methods, policy coverage and claim outcomes
- Manage claims through the repair process, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
- Build strong relationships with customers, builders and internal stakeholders
- Complete reports and documentation within agreed service standards
- Provide support during catastrophe (CAT) events when required
What do you need?
- Experience in residential building, construction, restoration, estimating or insurance assessing
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and repair processes
- Experience preparing scopes of works or estimates for building projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation and time management across multiple claims
- A customer-first mindset and genuine commitment to quality outcomes
