Kingaroy Hospital in Queensland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract from 30 September to 25 October 2026. This is an opportunity to work in a rural healthcare setting where your emergency nursing skills will be valued and put to immediate use. You'll be part of a team delivering urgent care to the local community, with a focus on triage and patient flow in a energetic ED environment.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated emergency nursing experience with proven competence in triage assessment




- Experience working in rural or remote healthcare settings
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy ED
- Current knowledge of emergency protocols and patient safety standards
- Ability to work flexibly within a contract timeframe and adapt to the pace of emergency care

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
