To provide the best possible radiographic service, ensuring a high quality of patient care. Strive to maintain a "best practice" department with regard to patients, visitors, staff and codes of practice. Participate in a rotating roster (24/7) performing a range of medical imaging related services as part of a multi-disciplinary team and working independently at times. Utilise imaging equipment in general, mobile, operating theatre, fluoroscopy and CT locations to produce optimal diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure complemented by a range of IT products including PACS & Radiology and Hospital Information Systems.

The identification, provision and delivery of continuing education for radiographers for all disciplines within Medical Imaging, with both clinical and general management components as well as all mandatory requirements as set out by the local health district. Coordination and appropriate delivery of training for students on clinical placement.
