This is primarily an inbound sales role. Around 90% of enquiries come through online channels from customers already looking for information about DMW's GVM upgrades. Your job will be to start the conversation, ask the right questions, understand what the customer is trying to achieve and qualify the chance before connecting them with the appropriate DMW authorised dealer.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to incoming customer enquiries via Podium, phone and email
- Asking questions to understand and qualify customer requirements
- Learning DMW's GVM upgrade range and developing your technical product knowledge
- Referring qualified opportunities to our Australia-wide dealer network
- Following up with customers to ensure their enquiry is progressing
- Managing customer information and follow-ups through Zoho CRM
- Working closely with DMW's sales team and authorised dealers
About you
- Confident speaking with customers on the phone
- Comfortable asking questions and starting conversations
- Interested in cars, 4WDs, touring or towing
- Organised and comfortable using computer systems
- Keen to learn technical product information
- Reliable with customer follow-up
- Motivated to develop your skills and progress in sales
- Ideally, previous experience in sales, automotive parts, accessories, dealerships, 4WD or customer service
- Automotive or 4WD industry experience will be highly regarded
