RN - South East Regional Hospital - Community Nursing

South East Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an 8-week community nursing contract running from 5 October to 30 November 2026. This is an opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a community setting across the South East Regional area, working with a team committed to supporting patients in their own environments. The role offers flexibility and the chance to make a real difference in community health outcomes.

- 8-week fixed-term contract with explicit start and end dates
- Community-based nursing role with on-call availability
- Work across the South East Regional area supporting diverse patient populations

Preferred Requirements





- Demonstrated experience in community nursing practice
- Competence in cannulation and venepuncture procedures
- Availability for on-call duties as required by the service
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a community context
- Ability to work independently and manage patient caseloads effectively

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in community health nursing
