We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Casual Maternal & Child Health Nurse to deliver the Universal Maternal andChild Health Service to the families of Banyule practising within the MCHprogram standards and practice guidelines.

This is a role for a nurse who is passionate aboutevidence-based practice, family-centred care, and continuous improvement.You'll work closely with the MCH and Immunisation Coordinator and Team Leadersto deliver a responsive, inclusive, and high-performing service that meets thediverse needs of our community.

You will be at the forefront of delivering maternal andchild health services—ensuring every family receives the support they need,when they need it.

What you'll do:

- Provide universal MCH service tofamilies in Banyule
- Provide leave coverage for permanentstaff across a variety of MCH centers within Banyule
- Promote healthy outcomes forchildren and families in Banyule

About you:

You are a skilled and passionate Maternal and Child HealthNurse, you'll be AHPRA registered, and you're deeply committed tofamily-centred care and understand how high-quality MCH services positivelyshape a child's early development.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, aresolutions-focused, and bring a proactive approach. Most importantly, you'redriven by the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. Youalso have:

- Registration as a General Division 1Nurse & Midwife with AHPRA
- A post graduate qualification inFamily and Child Health Nursing
- Ability to work independently, andwithin a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated clinical experience inMaternal & Child Health
- Aware of child and family healthissues, normal child development,



family dynamics and promotion of maternalwell being
- High levels of written and oralcommunication skills
- Conversant with relevant healthpromotion issues

Mandatory Pre-employment checks:

- FunctionalCapacity Assessment
- NationallyCoordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
- Workingwith Children's Check
- Driver'sLicense
- Registrationas a General Nurse and Midwife with current practising certificate fromAPHRA
- CPRand First Aid Certificate
