As a Learn to Swim Instructor , you will play a vital role in equipping young children with essential water safety and swimming skills in a supportive, inclusive environment. You will design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to a variety of ages and abilities, fostering confidence, technique, and a lifelong appreciation for swimming.

This is an opportunity to share your passion for aquatic education while contributing to the overall wellbeing and development of students.

YOU WILL

Deliverengaging and safe swimming lessons during school hours and/or after school hours

Availability from Monday to Saturday

Assessand monitor student progress - provide constructive feedback and encouragement

Enforcewater safety rules - ensure a safe aquatic environment

Planand prepare lesson content

Promotewater confidence and lifelong swimming skills

Fosterstrong relationships with the College community and external stakeholders

Proactivelymanage a risk-averse operation and foster a positive sports culture

Demonstratedknowledge and aptitude in swimming

Priorinstructor experience with children and youth

Abilityto effectively work with students, colleagues and the community

Workingwith Children blue card or eligibility to obtain prior to commencement

Physicallyfit to participate in manual tasks and a dynamic sports environment

Qualificationsin Austswim and First Aid, or willing to obtain at your own expense
