About Smilogy
Smilogy is a digital dentistry network delivering mobile dental care into aged care facilities across NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and ACT. We combine on-the-ground clinical teams with our own technology platform to make dental and denture care accessible to aged care residents who otherwise struggle to access it.
The role
We're looking for a registered Oral Health Therapist to join our aged care team, delivering on-site oral health assessments and preventive care to residents across our partner facilities. You'll work alongside our prosthetists and admin team, using Smilogy's digital case management system to manage assessments, consent and treatment planning from a tablet or laptop in the field.
What you'll be doing
Conducting individual and group oral health assessments for aged care residents on-site at partner facilities
Delivering preventive treatment (scale and clean, oral hygiene care) within your scope of practice
Documenting assessments and treatment plans through Smilogy's digital platform
Identifying residents who need denture or prosthodontic referral and coordinating with our prosthetist team
Liaising with facility staff, residents and next-of-kin on consent and treatment
Travelling between partner facilities as part of a scheduled visit roster
What you'll need
Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and National Police Check
Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
Comfort working independently in community and residential care settings
Robust communication skills - you'll be working with elderly residents, families and facility staff
Experience in aged care, geriatric or special needs dentistry is a plus but not essential
