What You Will Do
- Deliver ward-based medicines management services to support high-quality patient care and optimise medication use.
- Undertake a range of duties as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to support ward-based teams.
- Support medicines optimisation initiatives , working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with medicines reconciliation , helping to ensure medication records are accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in line with service requirements.
- Provide essential ward-based pharmacy support across a range of hospital services.
Requirements
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician is essential.
- Previous experience working as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician within an NHS hospital .
- Experience delivering ward-based medicines management services.
- Experience using Cerner systems.
- Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills.
- Previous experience within a hospital pharmacy setting.
