Key responsibilities

- Inherent requirements for the role.
- manage the workflow for ministerial submissions, briefs and correspondence, in accordance with ministerial and departmental requirements.
- liaise and negotiate with departmental liaison officers (DLOs) on the development and application of guidance.
- provide information and advice to departmental line areas to ensure a high level of understanding, quality assurance, compliance and timeliness with ministerial and departmental requirements and work practices.

What you need

- Engage respectfully with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
- Desirable requirements include experience in using relevant information management systems such as the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS+) and CabNet+, or the ability to quickly learn use of these systems.
- Cultural capability requirement.
