We are looking for our next Retail star with Cafe experience!

Rosebud Health Store is one of Victoria's most loved and long-standing natural health stores — proudly independent, locally owned, serving the Rosebud community for over 50 years. In store we offer a huge range of wellness products, vitamins and healing remedies. Upon entry, we have a juice and smoothie bar offering samples, specialty lattes, chai and matcha varieties for our customers to take-away, as well as a great menu of juices, smoothies accompanied by vegan desserts and a few light savoury options too. Alongside our store and juice bar, is the adjoining Dharma Centre for yoga, meditation, and spiritual wellbeing. We offer a truly holistic environment that blends natural health, herbalism, mindfulness, psychic readings and energy healing to our customer base.

About this role: Retail & Cafe

When you are not making fantastic lattes, colourful juices and healthy smoothies, you will be assisting customers in-store, working at the register, keeping on top of general retail duties and processing orders as they arrive. Receiving inventory, cleaning and re-stocking shelves is required on every shift.

We are looking for a front of house team member with these skills:

Barista/coffee making experience (latte art not required)

Retail/Customer Service experience

A passion for health store products, healthy baking, basic knowledge of general supplements, herbs or popular wellness products is desirable

You must be looking for a genuine employment position, rather than a training/study pathway:

This is a busy working workplace, so we need someone who can contribute from the beginning. Whether through retail, sales, customer service, product knowledge or strong general work skills. You’ll learn plenty as you go, but this isn’t an apprenticeship or paid mentoring role to support your studies in health science, dietetics or naturopathy. That being said - if you want to earn some money and work hard, there are plenty of hours available now as we enter the busy summer period on the Mornington Peninsula.

THE POSITION

This role will begin as a casual position, 25 - 32 hours per week. Shifts will vary depending on the needs of the business. Additional hours may be asked of you during peak season (Jan/Feb). On-going work (all year round) is available for the right person, so if you are looking for something more permanent we do want to hear from you. Rosters are managed fortnightly. You must have availability during our weekday hours of operation 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Award wages under the General Retail Award, level 3 apply to this position.
